Kirk Sohonage is the youngest of six children raised in southwestern Pennsylvania, During his adolescence Sohonage excelled in the classroom and on the athletic fields and courts, earning his entrance into Washington and Lee University, where he earned a Journalism degree and four varsity letters for football. After college, Sohonage attended law school in Colorado, and Innsbruck, Austria, focusing his studies on trial courses and international legal studies.
After law school Sohonage returned to Pennsylvania and began his legal career with his early years revolving around criminal law. As a Domestic Violence Prosecutor, Juvenile Prosecutor and Assistant District Attorney, Sohonage successfully tried and convicted murderers, rapists, arsonists, burglars and other felons.
Sohonage then began working in the health care arena regarding Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements. In this role he protects the rights of seniors and ensures for their health care going forward.
Sohonage is married to his high school friend, Christian, and they have three teenaged daughters: Abigail, LilyAna and Juliette. They make their home in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
